I installed King 2.5" coil overs with Camburg uni ball upper arms on the front and the King rears with the compression adjusters paired with LC80 coils and couldn't be happier

I ordered them through a buddy of mine at CJC Offroad. I'd say they are at about 2" of lift. My front end measures at 40 5/16" from the ground to the bottom of the fender and the rear is 40 5/8"

Dang I currently have the ss 1.2 kit and measure ground to fender in the front 38" and 40" in the rear.

anyways my 4runner has been very disappointing as far as on and off road ride quality. the roads to my cabin are somewhat washboard and i cant go over 10 mph without absolutely shaking to death, yet my dad silverado with a leveling kit glides over it. also it gets bad on the hwy above 60 mph.

therefore i am debating getting new front coilovers. not sure what i want to go with. just want it to perform better then whats on there now. I have been looking at radflo 2.0 coilovers for around 900$ with 600# coils and also the toytec boss coilovers for 830$ because they are offered with 550# coils. not sure which one to go with, or if there are others in similar price range i should look at.

I also have 285 tall tires.

Hi newbie here, but if I were to get the lx450 springs, and run then on the rear of my rig, what would my lift be? And how would I level it, due to that each are a different height? Thank you

I had the same problem with wash boards, extreme rattling and the sliding all over the place. I fixed it just by putting in new rear shocks and springs. Not sure if it was the shocks or the springs specifically which fixed it. I think it's the rear that makes the problem.

Alright I am finally simmering my suspension solution down! Now I need some help from you guys! 1) 881 and 890 will my truck now sit level? I plan on getting bilstein 5100 shocks! The adjustable ones for the front! Rear 5100 as wells. Another what size tires could I run? 275/70/17?? I hate doing this on thread but I need help! Sorry and thanks

ToyTec Lifts

Trying to find out more info about the ToyTec 3" lift springs, since it's not exactly an easy item to search for. Looking at which spring to pair with a set of Tundra 5100s. Going on a truck with stock bumpers, usually hauls a hundred pound dog and fifty pounds of tools/other junk, full skids and sliders, and most summer weekends doing moderate to easy trails. Looking to keep a cushy ride quality for daily driving, all offroad is just low speed over rocks, and I do not like noticeable rake. This leads me to my actual question:

OME 890 or Toytec 3" springs, given the situation described above? The SuperFlex and Landcruiser springs seem to provide too much rake for my liking.

i might have missed an answer in here but no one seems to have answered whether or not anything needs to be done to the links on the rear axle if a lc rear lift is installed. even with an adjustable track bar installed wouldn't the other two links tip the diff forward?

the rear axel sway bar END LINKS wouldn't cause the axel to tip/tilt forward...

the lower and upper REAR control arms would be what you want to consider as far as getting the drive shaft getting back to a happier place.

in other words, it's the RCAMS (rear control arm) that would affect the angel of the axel.

Sorry, the rear control arms were what i was referring to. I don't recall anyone saying anything about changing them, was just a thought that came to mind

some people's angels aren't as bad as others...

and isn't necessary, but good to do

i have 9 wraps in the rear with little to no weight (yet) so my angels are atrocious

i am very much wanting to get adjustable arms to fix the angel ASAP

Alright, thanks. I'm trying to find some 7 wraps so maybe its something i can leave for a bit

Shock help!!!

Ok, so I'm at a total loss right now. I have scoured high and low on this thread and have come up with so many different options and lots more questions. I recently got the toytec 890 lift. springs in the rear and spacers in the front.

Ive been scratching my head on what i need to add to this. Someone said bistein 5100 shocks but when i go to search i come up with the 4600 series instead. Am i missing something?? I need new shocks all around so do the 4600 fit for the rear? or the 5100 for both? I just keep looking for the 5100 series but get redirected to the 4600.

So whats the deal? Or are there other shocks I could go for other than bilstein? They are the best but are kinda pricey. Suggestions?

When in doubt call Toytec, they are very helpful

I'm doing he LC lift and from everything I've seen, the two sides differ in length, I found some from a rig that has 7.5 wraps of the same color on both sides. Is this going to cause problems?

Anyone running 5100s and 881s up front? I'm sure someone is, but I don't know what perch to set my 5100s on when I get everything put on to get roughly a 3" lift. I also have a 1" spacer that I can throw on if need be.
