Hey guys,
I took my 4Runner offloading a few times over the past few weeks and noticed a weird, vibrating noise when I had the air on. I decided to take out the blower and found some torn up napkins, pine needles, and parking pass. There were some torn up napkins stuck in two flaps underneath the dash. I was trying to open one of the flaps to pull out the napkin and heard a snap. Apparently a plastic piece popped out. One of the two flaps won't close all the way.
Now my AC/Heat doesn't make a sound but the air is not switching from fresh to recycle. I'm assuming that one of the flaps broke and is stuck in the fresh mode, even when I'm moving the level left and right.
My question is, does anyone know how to fix the flaps located underneath the dash where the blow motor attaches to?
Thanks!
