3rd Gen: can you 5100 and rear spacer?

Does anyone know if you could lift the front of the third-generation forerunner with Bilstein 5100s, set at the middle setting, then lift the rear with 2 inch top plate spacers? If so, would you have to go with a longer shock in the rear?

Thanks for the input!

Sure you can, but with what springs? 5100s for Taco/4R?

I installed Taco/4R 5100s on a 4R, top setting w/ stock 97 front springs, and it equated to just under a 3" lift. If I remember right it was about 2 3/4".

As for the rear, on stock shocks you are really hurting your down travel with just spacers... I haven't done the math or seen numbers (seems like no one is concerned with any specifics on the internet).
