I just upgraded my stock split 3spoke 15's for a set of FJ Cruiser 17's w/ tires. When I was taking the stock wheels off of the truck I noticed that there were double washers on 5 of the 6 lugs. I found this odd so I checked fitment with just a single washer. No go. Same on the FJ wheels. A single washer is about 3mm-5mm too long on both the stock and FJ wheels. Is it ok if I run the double washers? I do use my torque wrench to check the lugs every 100-150 miles until they need no more adjustment. Then I check every other fill up.
