Why did the 190 mm seize but not the 230 mm?

I'm going to say because I got them through Schucks (now O'Reilly), and they used low end internals. On both calipers the inside pistons were seized. First time my pass. side locked up on me I traded it in with no issues. Year later, the driver side did the same. Traded it in no issues. About a year and a half later the pass. side did it again and I went back in and they "had a new system" and couldn't find my purchase. I just smiled and gave them my original receipt. It bugged him, but I got a new caliper. I also asked him if it made since to him for the calipers to wear out faster then the brake pads and he actually had the 'bells' to say "Yes"!

So this last time, I didn't even waste my time to paint them. I knew it was the last time dealing with them. I knew I was moving up to 35" and wanted the larger calipers anyway, so I ran them till they were toast.

I got the 190s local before I new better... I hope these 230s have better quality O-rings and such in them.

Hello all! New to the hobby and could really use some help

I just got me a new toy. Its a 96 4runner limited. I was hoping someone could guide me to what the best lift and all i will need to achieve the look and performance I'm going for!

1st- i live in south carolina so rocky trails aren't huge here but there are some in the upstate and North carolina so it will be dirt and mud mostly

2nd- I am looking for a lift and suspension that will give me enough room to run a 31 to 33x12.5 tire as well as driving nicely and will give me travel if i do run across a trail with rocks and such.

3rd- price range is anywhere from 1,000 to 1,500 us dollars for lift/suspen.
(less would always be better) haha

i have done some research and it seems that people are using different parts on the front then they do on the rear. so please any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Wrong section, but I suggest contacting wheelers off-road. They can set you up. I am installing a 3" lift for way under 1k.

Looks great, it's nice to see a 3" with running boards. I've been debating on the fate of mine.

Nothing special, especially compared to all of the amazing builds on the site. But it is getting cleaned up, with a high level of maintenance, and will be getting some fun stuff soon.

Here's my 97 with 243000 miles. I bought it from my Dad who's had it the last 5 years. I've put some work into it but I love this truck more and more every time I get in it. They don't make em like this anymore!

In your second pic, shows the front and the fog lights, who makes those? any info/link? ive been looking for some square fogs like that to put on mine. having a hard time finding them, since I think they are sorta an older setup.
