my 02 plain, wrong wheels tires some suggestions on tires wheels? ps first mi report 18mpg, sold smoth quieter than my new 03 s10 blazer, man I love this puppy 36K certified.

what do you plan to do with your runner?


do you want to build it up? what size tires are those? are they the 265/70s or the 225's?

18 is decent mileage for a 4runner. I just got 17 on my trip to Oakland and back.

It seems that you have the steel tundra rims on there. I don't personally like them, I like the stock 4runner rims.

yea i realize that its normal for a 4runner its just that compared to other cars, its really bad, i think its because everyone else in my family owns a car.

do you have the deckplate and silencer mods done?

haha yea i love when it downshifts when you floor it, but at the same time i can visually see my gas guage going down

I am thinking of a modest lift like1-1/2 "rear 1" front with the neapreme inserts that go under the coils and some decent wheels, Id like to go 15" with like 31 10.50 15 and the junk wheels are 235 70 16 off a 2000 tundra, after somone stealing the stock alloys from the dealership. but I got 950$ bucks off for that. I don't do A lot of off roading but I get plenty of deep snow here. So I may put some blizzacks on these wheels for the winter.
I was a cop for 22years up here western NYS and Ive scene some bad storms, now I just do security work for a govenment agency so I need to get through some whicked stuff my wifes S10 does great, I'm hopping this 4R will do as well.

it wouldnt be hard, just expensive!

I don't think you would want to tackle a job like that yourself... have a professional do it unless you are an expert.

i have a guy who knows how to and i would be receving his help but my main question thoe will it be worth it since it will end up being a project truck or dont waste my time and money on it and since im getting a new car im keeping this i just dont no wat i want to do with it and this happens to be one of my ideas

bagging it would be cool, but be prepared: the 4runner has a bumpy ride as it is and bagging it probably wont help the ride quality much. also you would probably have to get some better rims and nice rubber to wrap them in to match the slammed look. good luck!

yea i no im prepared for new wheels tires and a more bummpy ride because rite now it is really bad as it is but the project wont be starting till atleast the new year or when i purchase my new car but im trying to see if its worth it or just gunna end up not being worth it and ruining that toyota quailty of a truck
