Heres my 2001 sr5 Toyota 4runner.
Right now i dont have anythingdone to it. But im looking at a lift, and a bumber and everything lol. I was gonna sell it and then i found this site, and thought man this thing could be sweet! so im gonna save up and make it nice.

pictures during the day of the retrofit. They are gen 4 projectors. Wanted to be different then the single halos thought this would look good. Thankfully it came out like i planned it. Took about 5 hours mostly because of paint and glue. Also smoked the corners to give it a more murdered out look. The tail lights are tinted too.

sc4runner that thing is really nice dude! the halos look awesome on the black 4runner... i wonder if something like that would look good on other colored runners.

That's a nice looking sport Runner and I like the toy on the trailer too! Which OME coils are you using in the rear,890's or 891's?

I believe I got the 890's. I bought the kit with the front and rear shocks and springs with the spacers for the front off of toytech lift.com or something.

those murdered halos almost make it look like a small land rover or range rover from the front.... they look super good though... awesome job!

NICE!! Glad you decided to stick with the Runner, I can tell you, you prob would have regretted selling a beauty like that!

I almost always hate those "fat lip" bumpers but the one you got makes yours look way tougher!

Only thing is, you probably want to send me your headlights and Ill send you my 96 headlights!! :cheers: I really want some nice 2001 headlights! :0)

Here's my '99 SR5 4x4, purchased last Saturday from Beaverton Toyota in Portland, OR. It has 153k miles on it but runs and drives like a dream. I'm looking forward to some slight modding (nothing major). In the meantime, it's just a pleasure to drive it and to finally have gotten one after a long search.

It originated in the Midwest (assembled in Japan), spent a few years out there, then ended up in Seaside, OR in 2004-2005. Since then it only had 40,000 miles put on it. There is some rust from being coastal, but nothing that looks major to me (I've seen some east coast Runners with lots!). Looking forward to being on the forums and learning more about how to get the most out of my baby! It got a little dirty on the drive home but I think that's how it's supposed to be, right?
