i got my first runner a couple weeks ago. 99 sr5 4wd, garage kept, lady driven one owner with 94k miles on it. i had decided to put some FJ 8 hole wheels on it with all terrain tires and call it a day but now i'm considering a small lift with aftermarket wheels and bigger all terrains. do these look stupid lifted without the fender flares?

I am going to refer you to the post just prior to yours....

Notice. One of the most bad ass, cleanest trucks on the forum with just the specs you mentioned. Lifted. Wheels. Bigger tires. No flares.

That should about cover it.
 
yeah i just noticed he didnt have flares. his looks way more extreme that i had planned. i agree, it's pretty awesome to look at though, i'm checking out his build thread now. how much lift is that pictured?
 
I believe its just a 3 inch suspension. And he just put the bumper on recently. That's why I like rickashays truck, its not full out just yet, but still looks awesome. Granted his headlights are well.......full out.

Btw looks awesome addison

man id love to come down and go back up into lots mine area, i didnt get to go this year due to the chips fire, almost lost our cabin(actually owned by a friends family). but ill be coming down to chico in the first part of dec. gonna spend a day or two there before heading down to the bay area for a wedding. if you guys are still all around maybe we should all try and get together and have some coffee and kick tires...

Downpour11 says he's got nothing going on till school starts in Feb and I don't plan on leaving the area any time soon lol. I'm down for a lil get together and maybe cruise up to High lakes for a play day in the snow :bigok:.

Did you make your snorkel? Do you get any rain water in it? I know arb is designed not to take in rain water but your scoop looks open
