Fresh out of the shop with my lift kit installed. Ended up replacing most of the front end steering parts that were bad while the lift was happening. Just pulled off the running boards today.

First time in the dirt at a construction site near my house.

Its 4 coats of plasti dip black with 2 coats of plasti clear coat. Its held up almost a year now without peeling on the flares or cladding, only peeled where my leg brushes on the door threshold. You can use a spray gun with plastidip and do a whole vehicle, my bro just did his entire fj. No build thread yet too busy working.

Everyone is welcome as long as you are mechanically minded and prepared with everything you need to survive. No parts stores 600 miles south of the border in the desert. My dog did the entire journey and has more pre run miles under his paws then most the guys that post on Race-dezert. If he only had thumbs so he could work the gps and 2 way radio.

I want to change my springs in the Spring, but I found that all sources, on this side of the border were $$$$.... I was going to buy them online State-side and drive them across the line. If I can get them here in Canada, without all that hassle, it would be nice.
Are those your original flares? Or do you have a source of used parts (Surrey wrecker??) I'm looking for some, and I'm not having much success finding some locally.... maybe I can find some, next time I'm down in Vancouver!

Went to Noonday trail out past Cottage Grove today with some buddies.

There were some pretty crazy cliff to the passenger side and the trail was narrow in some areas, so I picked up a few pinstripes.

A week and a half into my trip and I'm halfway across the country, as a rule I've done a bit of exploring in every state I've hit. The 4runner's done great! In North Dakota for the time being, gonna apply for a few jobs in Williston before I head somewhere else.

No way, there's other 4runners up here?! lol I haven't even seen a single 4runner other than mine in Williston. If I get a job up here then yeah I'll definitely be staying, people make a ridiculous amount of money if you manage to get a job up here. And thanks for the offer, I may be heading for Bismarck soon, I'll let you know if I do!

They are my factory flares. I got my springs from West shore spring and 4x4 on vancouver island. North shore 4x4 here in van sells them too.

a secret road on the way up to baker in the low lands and it's only open at random times as there's a big gate there, i'd be willing to show you one day if we can get a few guys together to go put around up there and other places in the Forrest as well. can't really explain it and really don't want to post it on the internet here, i can try to mark it on a map for you if you'd like,send me a pm if you want that instead. cheers!
