Did the bumper on the 4runner match the bolts on the tacoma? I've always wondered...or did you have to modify anything?

well; thats not a 4runner bumper, its a 02 prerunner bumper, and i think ima have to do something to it. I think the only thing needed is the 4runner brackets, cause it leaves a gap under the headlights; between the bumper and the headlights. But it was all pretty much bolt on except for the core support... that is a 4runner core support welded on.

There were no kits when I started this build 3 years ago. Everything on it is custom. I have seen some nice kits out there, and would have gone with one if I were doing it again today, but the education and experience I received were priceless. :bigok: :artist:

I didn't make it to WFF this year, but i was there last year. I've been working on the new ranch and haven't touched my truck in 6 months. It has a bent rear axle at the spring perches from prerunning a desert race. I had 5 guys in the truck, loaded down with recovery gear and spare parts hitting 30' floaters at 80mph... the rest is history. I was able to drive it home and really didn't realize how much it was bent until my right side wheel bearings decided to go out on me making a God awful noise. I tried installing Front Range Off Road's Full Floater kit, and that was when I saw the tubes were bent about 3 degrees. Dana 60 time!!!

I finally got a flex pic or two. Took a trail up the rear of Mt. Lemmon today and had some good fun Nothing rough, didn't even pop 4WD, just a nice ~30mi trail ride.

Hey guys - I am new to the forum and wanted to post a couple pics of my Runner. I have a 2000 SR5 4wd with about 87k miles on it. I bought it back in 3/05 and have loved it. I cleaned up the appearance of it within the first month of owning it and did little mods throughout but haven't really touched it in about a year or so and am looking to mod it again. Let me know what you think.
