Not really either. I was carrying a slow steady speed up the obstacle and there was lots of banging and scraping going on but thought it was just my sliders and bumpers, as is normal for this obstacle. To be honest, that control arm had already been slightly bent and then straightened with a sledge hammer so I now know that doing that IS NOT OK. I'm thinking it was a combination of a small to medium hit, the weakness from before, and the torque on the axle. Getting the axle back into its proper position was a nightmare though. It took 2 winches and lots of f*ckery! Though I did manage to straighten the LCA and limp out without any further issues.

And yes, I've already started planning the build of some stronger LCA's with heim joints.

Here is mine. Just took her home on Saturday. 2000, 97k miles and supercharger. Going to be fairly stock for a while. Want to completely maintenance everything possible to make sure she is mechanically sound before doing the "nice to have" changes. Not planning on being a rock climber, just enough to get me through areas in the WA mountains.

Thanks! Yes it was quite a steal too, but I'll explain those details when I'm able to post a proper intro thread.

Last night I found some '16 Trail Edition wheels and tires on OfferUp locally. Essentially brand new, less than 80miles on them. Guy bought a new 4R, went straight to Les Schwab and put different wheels and tires on it. Asking price was $650 but I took them home for $500. Pretty happy with the results. I desperately needed new tires.

A friend of mine decided to finally buy a new one so I didn't hesitate to buy his old, extremely well-maintained 162k, '02 Sr5 Sport.

Didn't hesitate to put the sticker on either.

Just for future reference, any steel tube, once bent, loses its structural integrity.

Really liking how the Duratrac's transformed the look of the truck

Also picked up a hitch carrier! No more dealing with a trailer just to pull the bike around. Much better
