that's a sweet ride!!! I have been also eyeing that bull bar, I have been holding back because I din't know how it would look on a Runner but your setup looks good. Where did you purchase that stainless bull bar? Hunter Wholesale on eBay???

It should work with the sport skid plate. According to the product description, the bull bar has its own skid plate but it way more vertical rather than horizontal. From the way it looks, it shouldn't get in the way of the skid plate. I just wasn't sure because the sample picture on eBay was of a Taco not a 4Runner. I was going to e-mail Hunter and ask if they had any pics of that particular bull bar on a Runner. Personally, I didn't think it looked that great but after seein Mike's runner, it's starting to grow on me. Hopefully, mike will post some different angles of the bull bar.

hey guys.. I will get you some more pics of the bar in the next day or two.. I dont have a sport skid but I think it will be fine with one... I really like the bar and you cant beat the price.. It did come from hunter.. on ebay.. =)

Thanks for the confirmation mike. I also think that the bull bar will fit with no issues from the sport skid plate. Supposedly the bull bar comes with its own skid plate but it is more vertical right??? Now that I know how it looks on a runner, I am very pleased.
Oh yea, now that you have a space for fog/driving lights.... you should check this out.

It's a great aux light. It works as both a fog light and driving light. The cheapest I have found it for is $120 but at Costco right now, its $90. It also comes with everything you need and both 55W and 100W bulb.

IMHO the bull bar looks better than the skid... I should have some more pics for you guys tommrow evening. =) also I will check those lights out.. I want some but Im broke right now so they are gonna have to wait... I had some lights on my old bar they where some cheapos that a friend gave me.. the lense had a blue tint to them I thought they looked cool but a rock hit one and busted it... pic in this thread

Hey guys, I'm a daily viewer of this site and never posted before, so here I go.
I drive around a bonestock 98' 4Runner SR5 and I couldn't be any happier. Well maybe till I have money to mod it.

That's a sweet ride you got there. Take care of it and it will take care of you for a long time. It may be bone stock but wait until you start with the mods, it will NEVER end. Trust me. By the way, welcome to the forum.
