a lightbar I welded up from aluminum tubing--got the lights from harbor freight

ever wonder what it would look like without springs? I did, so I yanked them, found out it rode like a forklift then put em back in

way too much camber

flexing those muscles

and again

ran over a can of paint in the road at night. it split and rocked inside the car, and hit my passenger in the head while splattering paint everywhere. I got the paint off with denatured alcohol.

86 corolla-has stock 4ac engine, with 282 racing cam, weber 32/36 progressive carb, double valve springs, and im in the process of building a high comp block for it out of the ae92

its the bar thats a lil uneven... jack legs at the body shop put an extra washer on this side and #$%#$%@ it up... havent had time to take it off...

I was already convinced when I first seen it but after those pics, I am definitely gettin it. Thanks for all the pics mike. Now the hard part, stainless or black. They do make it in black right? Which one would look better on Desert Dune Metallic??? Any thoughts??

Since yours is a Limited I am assuming your bumpers are color matched? That is a hard call. I personally would think Stainless, but if you aren't going to do anything else stainless/chrome it might look out of place. I have chrome bumpers so the stainless is the obvious choice for me.:biggrin2:

Yea my flares and bumpers are colored matched. But since I have a light color runner, I would probably go with the stainless steel.

I think SS I was contemplating the same thing at firts then I thought to myself if I didnt like it I could alsways paint or powder coat black... cant do change black to stainless tho! =)

Vibration '98 4Runner SR5 V6

I got my front OME 882, OME N91S with OME 95PF5 trim spacer 5mm and rear OME 891, OME N86 with OME 80PF05 trim spacer 5mm installed. Truck lifted on front 3"1/2 and at the back 3" (ARB Bull Bar and Winch will be install near future). My problem is the front cv joint is to much of the angle change and having vibration on the speed of 50miles and up. My question is did you do differential drop and is it wise to installed adjustable trac/panhard bar from sonoransteel. http://www.sonoransteel.com/store_adjustable_bar.html

im not running a diff drop or a trac bar.

for your setup in the rear, you could do a drop bracket and just weld it to keep the panhard level. or go with adjustable. you really dont need one but its nice to do keep the track a little more straight.

front end vibes? did you end up getting an alignment afterwards? should alievate the problems but i doubt its the CV angles thats causing the vibes.
