Thank you guys so much for all the info! Yes, the rear spacers are welded. I agree with you, this is going to be a huge undertaking. I took it to 4Wheel Parts and the guy there told me it's actually a decent lift for what it is and that he would recommend to just keep it. I left it with them to do an alignment before I put wheels and tires on it and he said their tech will go completely though the lift and suspension and make sure its still good. If I changed the rear shocks and front struts, what would you recommend?

I don't think that you'll be able to remove the spacers for the ball joints, and finding struts long enough to remove that spacer might be pretty hard. You could just upgrade struts and things with stock height components, to maintain its current height, and leave the spacers in. Many have done this to improve the ride on DB lifted rigs.

Removing a drop bracket lift is a pretty big undertaking. It is possible to do, but there are a ton of things to be aware of if you do try. The biggest thing is that most of them require you to cut out a chunk of frame to clear the front differential snout. In order to remove the lift you will need to have that piece of frame fixed or replaced. Look above the rear drop bracket on the front suspension, right at the rear of the lower front control arm, right where the driveshaft goes in and you will probably see where the cross-member has been cut out.

I have done this dance before, and I ended up replacing almost all of the suspension components on that truck and the bit of frame, brake lines, struts, springs, shocks, front and rear, and UCAs and knuckles (mine had replacement knuckles instead of ball joint spacers), it was a ton of work. It was also worth it to me, but YMMV.

Edit:
Are the rear spacers welded on the perches under the springs?

Yeah it sits level. I’m wondering if I could leave the diff drop kit and just change out the front struts, springs and remove that ball joint extension? Thinking of using Bilstein 5100 and OME springs the whole away around.

My opinion, call Procomp, because that looks to be their kit. The coil spacer looks stupid but this kit actually looks to be well thought-out. Adding a longer coil setup would increase the ride height and you'd be back at square one with altered ball joint and CV angles. I think this kit is meant to travel exactly like factory, with the difference that it clears larger tires. My guess is that any stock replacement length shock with factory coils(or the lightest duty OME if you install a bumper) would be ideal. The rear doesn't seem as tricky.

Here's some ideas

How do you like those? Considering getting 265 terra Grapplers for mine, how do they drive on freeway? Also do you have any more pics with those tires? Thanks

Longevity: The tire was made in 2015 and I bought them used from a guy on the internet in 2017. So they are old and there is some cracking on the sidewalls, but the tread is still good.

Comfort: Seems quieter and less balancing issues than the KO2s. About as comfortable as any all-season, but a little more noise.

Handling: Dry and wet is about as good as any other tire I've used. Ok in snow and ice.

Durability: No flats. Drove them over sharp rocks on Denali Hwy.

Summary: I like them and would buy again. I actually like them better than the newer KO2s. I spent over $1000 on KO2s and got rid of them after 2 years because they sucked. It's an old design though, the Terra Grappler G2 is the newer version.
