btw for everyone out there, i really wanted to paint my plastic rear bumper piece and my hitch as they were fadingg quite a bit.

but i was browsing around toyota at work one day and i found this stuff, Mothers "Back-to-Black," and i decided to give it a shot. It actually worked much better than i thought and it was only regularly priced at 5-6 bucks.

ill paint the hitch eventually but this stuff is a great alternative for the time being

Nice looking 4Runner and the skid fits perfect and you are one of the few I've seen go through fabbing the brackets extenders.

I dont' like how the actual 4Runner's brackets put the plate too far out and lower than the bumper and I wanted mine to fit snug but it still gets removed for off road excursions.

Here's a shot of my girlfriend's 97 Runner on Pilot Rock Trail in So Cal.
Mods: locker front and rear, manual hubs, rock sliders, tube bumpers, lift springs all 4 corners, and no sway bars.




And this is my 93 4Runner up near Lake Tahoe.
Mods are basically the same as the 97.

are you serious?? ive looked on this site and on yotatech recently and i cant find one like mine.

i bought it used like about a year ago up in houston and so far i havent thought about modding it but seeing some of the rides on here, i might just start doing some stuff to my truck.

yea the chrome ones look cool stock to me just because you dont hardly see them. and thanks yours looks nice to.


and kaiser this is exactly why a towing hitch is on the top of my lists of to-dos lol.
