So you have the 3.4 and you have a 265 70 r16 wheel?

Or did you upgrade to the 265 75 r16?

Mine came stock with the 265s, but I have a limited. Was yours an SR5?

Went from 225/XXR15 (forget) to 265/70R15 to 265/70R16. yes, it's an SR5.

Oh ok. I guess I'm used to this "power loss" since mine came with 265 70 r16's.

I think the look makes up for the little loss in power. I don't like skinny tires anyway.

Clemson, any 4runners that had 16 inch stocks had different gearing. So him going from stock to 265/70r15 to 265/70r16 would be like us going to a 32"-33" tire.

Our runners are already geared for a 31" tire from the factory.

That makes sense. My 4runner still feels sluggish compared to our Suburban though, but there's nothing I can do about that.

I agree, I remember my parents 98 suburban with the vortec V8. Now that was nice. Alot more powerful to drive around town or tow, thats for sure.

I just swiped a few plates from work (Fletcher Jones Mercedes-Benz, Newport Beach), and I thought it'd look better than the plate... hell, it's free, why not?

ha and I love the people driving their $120,000 Mercedes that look at my 4Runner and have that "huh? wtf?" face...

It surprised me that almost everyone who works there (near 600 employees) has this frame/plate... some don't even have their license plates at all, just these.

And thank you for the compliment, too.
