Thanks, they remind me of the roundness of the old LC / new FJ lights. I don't know what is up with the panels right under the headlight but i need to move the hole and level them out. It has been on my list for a while. :guitar2:

I tried fiddling with them and couldn't get the clasp undone. I think you have to remove the headlights to get the proper room to wiggle the thing around.

For some reason I want to say your 4R would look good with color keyed rims

I agree, Black Rims are on the list for when these tires are done.
Or did you mean dune colored rims, I hadn't thought of that. I could powdercoat them that color.

Yeah, I meant getting them matched to your body color. Haha or black wheels would look good too.

That was summer of 07 when I had my house painting business up and running. That truck fit everything - I once had a 24' ladder, 6' ladder, 60 gallons of paint, paint sprayer, power washer, two tubs of gear, and all my canvases. What a champion - only a few paint spots to show for it. :bigok:

808TRD that's an amazing looking truck. Great find! When you say "recently acquired", does that mean you bought it with the S/C already installed?

"Driver Take Home" ran my truck into the fence (December 2006 this was)!!! Good thing it was a short post otherwise the hood woulda got mushed too...

funny thing is most people i know with a 4runner, or even a good majority of the ones i see on the road, have some front bumper damage.

im sure they all have their excuses. dad backed into mine.

Guys - Thanks for the comments! I bought the 4Runner a couple weeks ago. Everything was on it including Wet Okoles front and rear, Borla exhaust and the skid plate. I was searching for a 4R for quite a while and thought I wanted a 4th gen as it rode better and was bigger, but I liked the way the 3rd gen drove as it seems to be more robust than the 4th gen.

One thing I had a hard time finding was one with low mileage as most in Hawaii have 100k+. I was kind of lucky with this one as it had just under 43k and I was able to pick it up for $11.5k.

808TRDRunner, I love that shot of your Runner on the beach with dark sky in the background, looks awesome! I visited Hawaii back in 2006, I stayed in Maui though. Greatest place in the world IMO.
