I got 'em for a $100 of Ebay. Took about a week, but the instructions were awesome and really easy install.

It's been a little while since I've posted in here so I figured I give a little up date. The big items are the LED tail lights, '99+ headlights, and the tint. I've had some of these for a while now.

Let me know if you have any suggestions as far as what to do next.

dang clemson those headlights look great with those clear blinker/corners. they change the appearnce a ton. the color goes perfect with them nice mod!!

Thanks bro. They were semi expensive so I'm glad they turned out well.

Now all that is on my list is new rims and tires.

you bet, ya i think its useually the most expensive mods that makes the biggest difference. with the rims IMO some of those dark alloy color like the ones on the newer toyotas would just top it out to orgasmac sickness lol!

The new headlights look killer. When I look at the pic of your ride from the front quarter it seems like the buglflector on the hood looks out of place. The window visors flow with the lines of the flares and look great. Maybe try taking the thing off the hood for a few pics.

Otherwise you have one clean, sweet a** 4Runner. IMO.
I can't wait to see what wheels you pick out. :satan:

I was thinking a front end conversion...

For instance, 02 grille, 99+ bumper, and then sport hood...

Very costly but hey the grille is a cheap one and I'm sure would look awesome with the headlights.

I just bought a bugshield off of craiglist for $10. You can just attach it with 3M double-sided tape, correct? Or how have you guys attached yours?

The deflector should come with some mounting screws that go into preexisting holes in the hood, and it should comes with little bumpers you can put on the hood to keep the deflector from rubbing directly up against it

This is my AVS version and attaches with a scew plug then the screw spreads the insert inside the OEM hole.

No need for the included bumpstops;you actually have to force it down to actually touch the hood.

Gotcha. The guy I'm buying it off of has a '96, I don't imagine there will be any fitment issues on my '99, correct? Also, any suggestions on how to clean up or spruce up the bug deflector? I haven't seen it in person but if it's from a '96 I imagine it's suffered from standard wear n' tear so I would probably want/need to buff it up a little bit.

I auctually bought a billet grill for it, but when I went to install it I learned that I would have to cut the old one out, so I was like no, it's not worth it. I wish I could find one like Fo_Sheezy's '02. That was was a direct bolt on.

I've thought about swaping in one from another year. Not sure though.
