I sold the rack yesturday to a Taxi driver from Walnut Creek... it was the old rack off of my Cherokee Limited... had it sitting in my garage for ages. Bought it for $100 and sold it for $210... so I came up. I'm thinking about selling my wheels because I bought a different set. I have an issue with always switching rims out when I get bored.

Cars are like legos.

Yeah I gotta agree here. Yours is one of my favorite 4Runners on here, sn0w. When I first joined and saw a pic of your rig I was like DAMN that's one hell of an example of what you can do to a 4Runner and it got me inspired to want to do all sorts of stuff to mine that I would have never thought about.

No clay bar. I just needed the outside to look good, I was going on a road trip to LA. 1,000 miles of freeway later the front end was splattered with bugs again . I washed it all off again, though. Got some nice microfiber cloths to wipe the car down with every few days to keep it clean.

The big ticket item was the interior detail job... WOW. Had all the carpets and seats shampoo'd, the interior surfaces wiped down and shined. It looked like a brand new car on the inside (and still does). team that up with the hand vaccuum I leave in the back and my interior stays pretty damn clean.

i wanna do alot to her. lol. deckplate mod, clear bumpers with painted corners, bull bar, ome suspension, led interior, and get a taco skidplate. i read all these from this site. i wanna do all these by the end of the year. do you know if the limited bumpers will match up to my sr5?

Im not sure there is a difference between limited bumpers and sr5 bumpers

The newer 3rd gens have a fat lip bumper, is that what you mean?

well yes and no. i didnt even realize the fatter lip, but thanks for the info. i want to see if the color matched bumpers from other models will be a direct fit to replace the chrome ones.

Ah i see. Yeah they look much better when they are painted. And yeah all 3rd gen bumpers can be replaced with other 3rd gen bumpers.
