yeah, I don't see a sag and if it happened it was taken care of.
I couldn't detect one.

I was trying to track down some service records. It looks like I'll have no way of knowing if the timing belt was done. The way everything else was taken care of it probably was, but I'll get it done to be certain.

timing belt replacement record should be right on top of the timing belt cover, depending on who put it on last it could be there

thanks kaiser for the tip. I looked and didn't see any decals. The engine compartment is pretty damn clean for a ten year old truck. I'm beginning to think that it wasn't done.

Excellent discovery, and I'm sure you'll be pleased with the 99. That was like THE key year for 3rd gen's in my opinion.

Got CB antenna and TRD sticker!!!

Finally, my antenna came in and i have it set up, but still waiting on coax cord... any way i hope to post some pics tomorrow!!!!

that bumper is friggin sweet, so did you just go into a custom fab shop shop and just layout what you wanted? Did you have to leave the runner there while they fitted it?

i had to let them take mesurments one day and then they built it and then i went and put it on like a month later tho haha. it was a guy i know who built it for me at his work, i know all the owners of the business they build custom axles so this was just a side project for them.

yeah i hear ya there, see i worked my butt off all summer in texas and used my backend check to pay off my truck. which happened to be 5800 dollars! it sucked but its time for mods now haha even if they have to be on credit haha

Painted some underbody parts with Krylon flat black. Also painted the front "scoop" area around the license plate. I already got rid of the overspray in the right lower corner. I'll get some more pics up later of the skid plates I also painted, as well as the trailing arms.

I'm relatively new to this forum, but I thought I would post a few recent pics of my 99 4runner.
We had ordered this vehicle through one of the local dealers in 98. We have used it as a work truck a few days a week so it has just 127,000 kms (85,000mi).

Last month we decided to upgrade the suspension and a 3" lift rear and 2.5" lift front was added. We are awaiting a set of bushwacker extend-a-fenders and a few more mods.

Here is the original look

New Suspension, lift and removed the running boards.

Installed nerf bars and BFG AT KO 285/75 R16

Removed chrome fender trim
