This is a first time post for me, glad i found the site a few months ago its helped out alot with decisions on mods and installs, sporting a '00 i bought back in november with 163k, so far i'v removed the running boards, added the brush guard w/ lights, 55 series K&N intake, rain guards and if the weather holds turing the wheels black this weekend

I couldn't wait for my lift to arrive, so I found some stock-friendly trails and logging roads. Spent 8 hours driving around getting lost in the woods. It was awesome.

Check that stock flex! lol

It got too hairy here and I had to back down like 1/2 mile. My neck hurts!

Home sweet home, with a little extra dirt on the truck! Got up to 2000 Feet!

I just picked up a 2000 Sport and I'm looking to do the same as u. What I've found so far to be quick/affordable mods that I like: Daystar coil spacers aka lift (allow for some clearance and room for bigger rubber)$160, an HID headlight kit $58, clear corner lenses $30, some new tires and maybe a sweet roof rack to use up my budget for a while. It'll be looking good till I upgrade shocks. Oh and these are kinda controversial but to give the ride a buffer stance from the front you can do some 1'' wheel spacers too. I like the spidertrax brand but you can find some nice machined ones on ebay made of the same material......remember, u get what you pay for....good luck and post some pics if you get to any mods before i do and i'll scope em out.

I pulled off a 1" body lift this weekend. here are the results, and BTW if you have the "fat lip" bumper and don't get a bumper lift bracket, it will rub the tire!

Here is my 1998 2WD 4Runner. Just got the new wheels/tires on it yesterday.

Stock rear lift, 3/8" spacer in the front (lifted it about 5/8")
16x8 wheels (from Wheeler's Offroad)
285/75R16 Toyo All-Terrain tires (32.8" height)

I also put in a 4.30:1 rear third member out of an older V6 pickup/4Runner (original was 3.73:1).

Hella 500FF's eventually ill get some Lightforce 240 Blitz's but that was a little out of budget for right now, yes i did sawzaw the front bumper.
