3vze high oil pressure???

I just installed a new mechanical oil pressure gauge on my 3.0 (the wire has been tore off my old sening unit for awhile now) and I'm running 20-25 psi at hot idle and about 50-55 psi cruising, but when you step on the gas it can go as high as 80-85 psi! I have oil leaks EVERYWHERE so maybe a clogged PCV valve? Or something else? Also I'm running Castrol 10w40 with one quart of Lucas, so maybe I need a thinner oil.

By the way the truck has over 220k on it and the motor has never been rebuilt.

I have no idea where your problems could be stemming from.

Start by fixing the leaks and yes, replace the PCV.
