4.7L Engine Ticking Noise

I have a ticking noise coming from the engine bay, its pretty quiet if even obvious at all at idle, but when I press the gas, the more you press it the louder it gets and faster it gets. Is this my timing belt? The timing belt has not been changed and I'm at 121,000 miles (Just got truck recently its getting done this week). Hoping it's just that. Any other ideas? Thanks.

This is a common problem with the 4.7 V8. The issue you're having is most likely a cracked exhaust manifold.

There are several different options for repair. Just search it and you'll find many different ways to fix it!

This all the way. Its not cheap but it is fixable. Just search for exhaust manifold v8 and follow the trial! Happy hunting.
