Just finished basic combat training with the army at fort Jackson south Carolina. Now for 14 weeks of AIT then it's back home to be a "weekend warrior" honestly hopin I can get myself deployed at least once and get my college done for when I go active.
But until them I get to build my 98 into a beast what's in the works? I'm thinking about doing the tundra/LC lift and repainting my truck, New wheels and tires, and trying to redo my interior. I will make an official build thread when I get a chance to and I might start buying everything long before I can even put it on.

Well first off, thanks for your service as that goes to anyone currently in the military.

This. Or get a new radiator. Pink milkshake will ruin your T4R experience - you can read endless threads about it so i'd suggest hitting this nail first if you have 100k+ miles.

Thank you for the support, I will have to check it out one of the nights I have nothing to do during AIT.
I will post pictures once I can get a laptop, haven't quite figured it out on my phone yet..
As for armour I want to get some bumpers but eac bumper is running as an entire months paycheck xD so those are on hold. My truck is kinda gonna be a trail poser, there's no good trails ill even be able to test how strong the bumpers are. Skids will be bought/made however I end up doing it. Oh and ignore the signature it's not quite right, plans changed and all that fun stuff.

If I can find a set of cheap plate bumpers I might get em.

New radiator at 103k miles ;p replaced that in April. Had to deal with the milkshake in my friends dodge neon, aka a POS. and that was a terrible experience.

Thank you, I'm a 91B which is a wheeled vehicle mechanic.

Sadly just found out I won't be able to keep you guys updated for about 5 weeks. I have to get through a phase before I get my privilages.

Sounds like a good start.

If you want very affordable armor, check out savage offroad. I almost went that direction and you can get front and rear bumpers, sliders and skids all from,them for discount if you order them together. All can be had cheaper than some custom bumpers alone.
