4cyl how to make it sound beefy?

how can i make my 2000 4runner 4cyl sound beefy? or is that just impossible

or go with 2-3 long resonators. at the shop i used to work at we would do this all the time, makes it quiet at idle but still very loud and freeflowing under load.
