That is some top notch repair work right there. I’ve been looking for an early T4R myself and all I’ve been able to find is total rust buckets. I am in the rust belt as well. Looking to build a camping/boat towing rig for summer time use. Thinking that it might be worth importing one from southern areas if I can afford it.
The intensive repairs you have done on your machine, if something I could’ve done when I was younger. But now not so much. Good on you for saving one.

Sounds like a nice plan, hope you can find a good one, one day if so it takes much time, especially if you have other things or hobbies to do in the daily life.

So this happend to night, i decide to wait with painting the yellow places cause it was to cold in the garage, will see tomorrow again, soo i dissaseble the bumper and fender.. need to fix the bumper holder on the side cause it is very bad.. so will try to make a new one. fender it self need some love too before the fenderflare will go on again. aaand also some rust repair in the lower wheelhouse [emoji28][emoji2][emoji108]

So painted the fenders and some of the ready panels on the 4R. begun today to fix the bumper holder brackets.

Front fender is done after some fast repair, going to use the fenderflare on the outside anyway so did not do the repair so superwell this time.. anyway begun to mod the front bumper after.

So did a 2nd layer today on the body and 1 first coat on the bumpers,and did the rear axle done.

RR door is finish welded together, not perfect but no rust anymore. also added 2k epoxy primer on bare metal for the lower part and rear of the body.. doors next.

I wanted to have a wice with me in the future on the travelings if nessesary,, so i welded together a wice holder for my towing point, in should clear the bumper when it comming on.. hopefully..

Wheelbearing and lockrings on shaft. just banging it down with a steelpipe i made. works every time. Milneroffroad sending one extra lock ring in each wheelbearing sets, so i use one to make bigger inner dim so i could use it as a guide with out hanging, the old one was to bad to use anyway. these parts will be good to save for later as well.

Soo ready for new gasket, the diff lamels looks pretty good still. the gears looks great too so the diff have lived a good life.. had to fix some of the bolts before i install them with threadlock as well..
