Sunfire red FTW!! love your truck dude:hatsoff:
Its the best!
Nice pics man! Looks like a good time!
Thanks man it was a pretty good day for me, but my buddy in the suburban had a terrible trip. First 5 mins we got there he goes into the mudpit and gets stuck, took like 25 minutes to get him out because we were waiting for a strap and then he limped over to the benches and it died on him. After taking off the starter and emptying out some mud he got it fired back up and decided to do the sand pit. He went over the humps to fast and somehow broke his front diff. It was then that he decided to call it a day and drive home. He left early and on my way back we found him pulled over to the side of the road with a overheated engine that wouldnt start. I gave him a ride home since the towing company wouldn't be there for another 3 hours. This is why I hate mud!!:flipoff:

Yah, they just don't break down 3 or 4 times in a single day. lol

Actually the same thing happened to my buddy in his FJ at Hollister. Didnt break his front diff but he couldnt even get it started. Got it towed back home and had to basically rebuild his engine. So I stay as far away from mud as possible. Unless it means I get to pull out a big american truck with my yota hahah:banana:

Nice work. That thing is really clean and functional.

I agree.
I joined this forum just to comment on this build. Im from TacomaWorld and stumbled upon a picture of your're rig and I asked if there was a build thread on it, sure enough here it is lol.
That has to be the best looking 3rd gen 4runner ive ever seen. Its absolutly badass. Keep up the good work! Also, why are there not very many comments on this?!

small forum, not very many people here compare to TW, we got about 1/10 of the people tw got maybe even less.

Also Anthony hasn't been very active on the board since he started college. People forget about these threads unless they are brought up frequently. I've seen this 4runner in person and it is better than in the pictures. It's what convinced me to look for a Sunfire Red 4runner.

Hey guys sorry I dont keep up on posts that much I try to answer pms when i have time. Currently I have a new project that is awesome. Going to do a restoration on it I guess. Seen too many episodes of Fast N' Loud. Here is what it looked like when I got it.

I've been looking at those wheels. Remind me a lot of the beadlocked trd wheels for the fj.
Yea they are quite similar but don't have fake beadlocks.

how much did you have to pay for that gem!? if you dont mind me(us) asking...
$2300, got the guy down from $2800

Nice buy on the Truck, 4Runit. I had an '84 back in the day that was a tank... I wish I'd never sold it.

RE the wheels, ALBPM is running those on his 3rd gen. Check out his post for an idea of what they'll look like.
