the Lexus IS 250/350 is a girlie car, my wife owns one and everybody that drives them in SoCal is female. even the ISF trim is girlie regardless of how much horsepower/torque they stuff under the hood. IMO lexus introduced this trim to attract the male demographic....i still wouldn't buy it.
It is the 'Knight", was on worlds most expensive rides, google it, might be ugly but it is insane, and a 'man car' (grunt grunt grunt)
Somehow, somewhere, a woman is driving one of these

In my area I wuould say is 50/50 . I am a female and really love my 4th gen 4runner to death and reconsidering passing it on to my 15 year old son even though I am dying for a Trail Edition 5th Generation. I am so attached to my baby that I think I may get him something else and keep her.
PS: and the only reason I dont go off road is beacuse my baby is a 2wd. If I only knew about this forum before the purchase I would have chosen a 4wd. I love her anyways and she is staying in the family till eternity...

That reminds me of the episode of Two and a Half Men where Alan bought a Porsche Boxster and Charlie said it looked like his car's hot little girlfriend parked next to it in the garage. It was even wearing a leather bra! LOL

I bought an IS350 for my wife in 07. She drove it for one week and told me she wanted the Limited 4Runner. She said the IS was too fragile! She didn't want to worry about hitting the front spoiler or rubbing the wheels. She said she felt safer in the 4Runner. Turns out the 4Runner may have saved her from injury. It was totaled and she just walked away!
By the way the IS250 is the chick car, not the 350 or ISF. You will not see many women in 350s/ISFs, I know they look alike.

So dang true. I've been at college for 3 months and I can't tell you how many girls love my car now. And almost every single one of them wish they could have it. So in that case a 4runner must definitely be a :girl: magnet.
Yeah, that's true around here too. It must be something like 10 to 1 when it comes to females/males driving the new Wrangler. That's weird because the older ones seem to be driven mostly by males. Maybe they made the new ones really comfy?
After driving a Subaru for a while, i got really used to the Subaru community where pretty much everybody driving a WRX kind of waved at everybody else. Now I still feel vaguely compelled to acknowledge someone else's superior taste in vehicles, but feel like if I do the steering-wheel-wave thing they will look at me kind of oddly. Just today i say a 3rd gen that looked really nice and pulled up beside it and it was driven by a middle-aged (and I'm being generous here) lady who didn't appear to have any idea that our vehicles were remotely related.
So I guess what I'm saying is that there appears to be extremely broad appeal for our vehicles out there, when old and young, male and female choose to drive them. Although i do notice that a much higher percentage of the stock ones are driven by women and vice versa (acknowledging that quite a few of the female members here have super tricked out rides, sorry at least around here you're the exception).
