4Runner Alignment Specs, what do you think?

So I installed the Daystar 2.5/1.5 and I am curious about my alignment specs that I got. I know nothing about alignment and don't pretend to, below is a picture of the specs. The guy said he couldn't get it perfect because the upper A-arm was a little too short. (but define perfect!)

Only mods that would affect this are the DS lift.

I can't answer your question but on Saturday I'm installing the 2.5 1.5 on my 04 sport I'll post back with my alignment report on Monday after its done we will see how close the two are. I'm not sure if there is a difference in the o4 and 08 but I will still post the report for you and everyone else. Hope someone can answer this for you friend..

The SAI is too low because of the lift. That can be alleviated with aftermarket UCAs. They did a really good job on that alignment though, all things considered. Definitely got it as close as they probably could.

It is great to hear that from somebody else that confirms exactly what he told me. He seemed like a straight shooter and I guess he was! HE also recommended new upper a-arms as you did as well. :thanks:

That probably is about as good as you can get it. To really get it perfect, new upper arms like suggested, take the camber down to about .15, and bump up the caster on both sides but mostly on the passenger side to fight road crown. Oh yeah, toe it in just a tad more. However those numbers look good to me. How does it drive?

It runs perfect, it does tend to follow the crown of the road but I can leave the steering wheel untouched and the car stays perfectly straight if there is no crown in the road.

The wheel also snaps back to a perfect center when turning, overall I am VERY happy with it and think it is much better than when I bought it. He did also mention what you did above, if he altered the caster any further it would push one of the other specs out of line. The tires run straight and they are perfectly straight. Obviously after the lift kit it was comical how much the wheels were toe-in

But yup, she runs great, I think my next step is a custom exhaust system, time for a new mod!! :guitar3:
