4runner Back up Camera

This is all new information to me. I have an 05 limited which means I have the E7005 unit. does that camera inscarguy listed work as a replacement? I've been wanting to get a rear bumper with tire carrier, but I didn't want to lose my back up camera. Is there any other information about this? I couldn't find any other threads. Also where is the connector? Is it in the trunk? or somewhere closer to the head unit?

Sure. Just be sure the Eclipse camera runs on 6V. That's what the HU feeds the camera.

The E7005 I believe has the "old" video connector, so it SHOULD be plug and play. Lots of information regarding pinouts btw.

The 2005 4Runner used both E7005 (early models 2005 4Runners) and E7006 (the E7006 introduced new connectors in the back AND no longer needed a rear DVD box, for E7006, it was all integrated into the HU).

At least as far as I know.......................
