I also tailor made these window socks as well. The concern would be in the raining day. Water will leak into the car compartment through these socks. That is one of the reasons why I made bug screen inserts. Anyone has any experience in using Window socks during raining day?

This is very nice. Love the camping feel you still have even sleeping in a truck 
For others that want to keep it simple:
I often sleep in my truck, using an air inflatable mattress that plugs in the 110V outlet. I just leave the engine running with A/C during the night. It costs like 1$/hour of gas to run, so no big deal. Approx. 1/8 of a tank for a 6hour night with A/C. The truck is also pretty silent. Just adjust the forward vents up, so the fresh air gets all the way to the back, and close the back one as they become pointless with back seats down and a mattress.
Done this tons of times, and now my tent is at the very far end of my storage room, having no more use

4Runner Car Camping Low Profile Setup : Exterior 360 degree LED Light 12V
Exterior 360 degree LED Light – Once you drive into a campsite or stopped in a rugged road or under emergency situation. You want to light up the place around your car. In some cases, while you are sleeping inside your car, you may wish to turn it on in the middle of night to check if there is anything (animal/people) around you. You can hide these lights (looks light a regular SUV) in the city. It is just a usage on-demand setup within 15 seconds.
Material: 1.5W COB LED Lamb Bulb (Qty=8, 12V, small size)
Flexible Cable Management Tie (Home Depot)
L Shaped Connectors (Home Depot)
Shrink Tubes (Home Depot)
You can easily these kind of LED Light bulb in Ebay or Amazon:

Method: Insert the LED into the L Shape connectors, Insert the L Shape Connectors into the flexible cable tie, tie them in the roof rack, you can easily adjust the flexible cable tie into different angles for area coverage as you wish, you can hide these LEDs behind the roof rack if you do not need them to be visible. Install 2 LEDs at the front hood and also at the back spoiler. Connect them to the car compartment with a A/B power control switch. You can control the on/off while you are sleeping inside your 4runner.
The light intensive/power should be good enough for most of the use, if you want higher power, you can use 9W LED instead.
Power: It can be powered from your car battery or external battery (certainly, you may have concern about this, we will talk about it in the coming section of batteries in your 4Runner)

Here are the night shots. It was taken inside a basement with all the lights turn off. The only light source is from these LEDs. You can compare the short range brightness (light on the wall) as well as medium range (light on those cars).

This is not a professional solution. I know that you guys have done lots of nice conversion (e.g. take out the 3rd row seats, remove the sliding cargo tray and customise drawers under a completely FLAT platform …)
This solution is rather a flat sleep platform with fold up/down of the 2nd row seat on-demand basis (assumed that you have the 3rd row seats). You can finish the sleeping platform setup within 2 minutes. It can accommodate two people with a 76” X 54” sleep area.
Material: Plywood X 4 (you can get it from Home Depot and customise the size as you need)
2” Foam Layer X 1 (customise the size and shape to fill in the sleep area)
Rubber Floor Covering X 1 (make the foam surface harder, you can also store bug screens under it)
Memory Foam Mattress (customize the size and shape, exactly fit on the sleeping platform)
Pylwood (HomeDepot):

Rubber Floor Covering for Elevators!
Method: Customize the Plywood (Qty =4) to fit into the sleeping area. Two of them place at the front, another two of them fill the gaps between the 2nd and 3rd row seats.
Customize the foam (2” thickness) to fill in the cargo area.
Customize the rubber floor covering and place it on the top of the foam.
Customize the memory foam mattress for you to sleep on it.
Reverse the 2nd row seats headrest, it becomes the support for the plywoods.
How to use: You can store everything (foam, plywood, memory mattress, sleeping bag…. Pillows) at the car trunk and flip the 2nd row seats back to its original position as needed.

Since my 4runner is the 7 seats limited model that the 2nd row seat bases cannot be removed. All I can do is to fold down the 2nd row seats and slide them forward, it can make 76" length space.
It is understand that there are some 4runner models with seat bases removable option, it can make it flat but the length could be reduced (no sure)?
