4Runner Saved My Life

Wow.. that looks insane! So glad that you made it out of this so safely. :bravo:
Fantastic to know of such great safety in these vehicles.
Very sorry to hear about the loss of the vehicle - but glad to hear you found yourself in another one that you can enjoy too.

Been there, done that. Glad you were OK, looks like a doozy! You never really appreciate your vehicle until it sacrifices itself to save you.

Let's see some pics of the 4th gen!

Wow, saddening photos but glad she kept you safe. Luckily you're a good driver and wore your seatbelt. Also really sucks the person that caused all this just kept going. Anyways, glad you're back in the saddle!

Last year I also got in to a bad wreck in my 4runner and not only was I able to drive it home from a 4 care accident in which I was the only one to do so I bought it back from the ins company then sold it for more than I paid I was also able to replace it with a same year t4r in the same color even all I personally suffered was a broken rib and a burn on my chest from the air bag.

These not only are very very reliable but super safe as well.

All I allow my family to drive is 3rd gens because of those reasons.

crazy looking wreck but glad to know these trucks keep their beloved owners safe.

glad that you were able to walk away and are back behind the wheel of a 4Runner.

Am glad i bought a 4runner they seem pretty safe after seeing those pictures. I have a question how do you feel about those 895 springs ? I was thinking in the 895e springs but everyone says it rides like a truck but i have moog fj in the front which are 660lb spring and they dont ride stiff hard truckish or any of that.

IMO the 895 is perfect. No body roll. Solid through corners. No nose dive during braking. The other option between the 895E & 895 is the Toytec Superflex Coil.

OME full suspension -- Click here for details

You'll see it in the Rear Coil drop down menu.

But OME, no regrets.

I just dont want it to feel like dually or a ford super duty like at work. I had alot lowered cars and for that was stiff harsh ride. I would like a solid handling not mushing i read the superflex were a slight increase. Which i think i might end disappointment thanks again for the responde.

dude I just realized you are on of my IG followers! new truck looks great man. i'm heavily considering OME products for my 3rd Gen.

My understanding is the Superflex coil is 10% increase in spring rate over stock, where the 895 is 40% increase over stock.

I still vote 895.
