4runner stopped working on freeway

On Friday my 4runner stopped working in the middle of freeway.

Now I cannot turn it on my 4runner and I connect obd2 device & it’s says nothing and my check engine light does not turn it on plz help.

Gonna need a little more info than that…… what exactly happened on the freeway? What does it do when you try to start it now? Clicking? Nothing at all? Fluid levels are good? Timing belt is ok too?

Do you have power at all? What’s your battery voltage?

well when i put my key it does not turn it on like its death, but it doesn't get the check engine light on. i check the battery, alternator and starter its on the good standing it has been check.




on the freeway i was driving and it feel deaccelerating and it locked the transmission and couldn't turn it on anymore.

I would start with the battery voltage. As I have seen automotive batteries blow cells and go dead instantly before. Especially battery's older then 5 years.

Well yes it shouted down like disconnect from the power supply

I agree, I cannot understand this thread. In all seriousness I believe it’s a language barrier but I could be wrong
