Man, a lot of people are going to be disappointed when this thing comes out. Absolutely no way I can see it having a V8 and very little chance of a SC. It'll probably have the wheels, maybe upgraded suspension and brakes, aluminum front skid, maybe rock rails, and the rest will just be bling. I see it more as being like a 4Runner version of the FJC TT. Can't get around those CAFE regulations...

They mentioned dealer installed superchargers at the end...
They seem like nice trucks but not worth the fanfare and teasers they were putting out there. The TRD Pro 4Runner in Super White is pretty much my dream 4Runner off the factory floor. It is an S/C away from being absolutely perfect.
The biggest downer is the fact that the Tacoma will soldier on for yet another year. Really disappointed to hear that they still aren't ready for the next gen.
gotta love that open diff, single-wheel spin.
Initial specs show the 4Runner TRD Pro does not even get the TRD exhaust that the Tundra and Taco get. Also, the Taco only gets a 1/8" stamped "skid plate."
Meh to the whole thing. Like the wheels though. Funny they don't mention anything about the tires.
except for the grill another let down from TRD!
I completely agree.. The white on black will look great. Not sure if the package enough for me to trade in the '13LE tho.
Im sure there's some Tacoma guys very bummed they will now have to wait to at least 2016 for a new model. That cycle is getting long in the tooth.
