Excellent observation! As other have also said, this explains a bunch. As I mentioned a couple hundred posts back, the TRD guys that I talked with at the FJ Cruiser Summit said that the production version was going to sit a bit lower and more level than the pre-production versions. I believe you figured out how they have done this. Here are a few other photos that I took of the same pre-production TRD Pro 4Runner that I had seen. Take note of the fact that the front end is way high. In person it was noticeably nose up like a desert pre-runner truck.

It does look like the difference in height from the production white one in this thread to the inferno pre-production you just posted is approximately the height of one spacing on the coilover. For a daily driver I think the production setting may be best, but it will be nice to have the option to raise it up if needed / desired.
