If those are the right parts (and I didn't have my set up already) I'd be all over that. Shipping on my coilovers alone cost more than the shipping on all of that together.

That is what the Bilstein reps told me last year at SEMA. They were suppose to start announcing other applications by now. The toyota reps were tight lipped about everything though.

They'll fit. THe FJC suspension is interchangeable, and IIRC the TRD pro suspension is taken from the trail team edition just like the skid plate. The 4runner just doesn't have the sales numbers to justify a bunch of individually engineered parts

From the research I just did, looks like you're right. And the rear coils are the same as any of the T4R's with the TRD suspension anyways. Looks like I'll just grab these then!

FJC kit has different part numbers. The hardware kits are the same p/n but the shocks are not.

No, just that they are different part numbers. Perhaps they do fit. This is not the identical suspension to the suspension used on the TRD Pro.
Who knows what the actual differences are, all of this is just speculation based on service replacement parts. The hardware kit is the same but other parts are not, indicating that they are different in some way.
If you look closely you can notice the FJC ebay auction parts have different spring settings, the left shock is on the bottom race but the right one is not. Who knows why this is but the picture is pretty clear.

Don't the FJ's have the same "Toyota Lean" on the driver's side as the tacoma and 4Runner? Maybe that has something to do with it...Idk, I think I'll take my chances. Screw it!

A black TRDPRO 4runner is at the Orange County Auto Show.
Saw it last night, looked cool. The suspension height looks exactly the same as the regular trail. Doesn't Toyota spec sheet say its suppose to be 1.5 inches higher? Maybe those were not official specs?
I would simply buy a trail and do the front bumper to make it look like the Pro. I really like the Pro's front bumper.

I guess if you live in a state where public access is available or are rich enough to own a few hundred acres of land you might have somewhat better performance off road when you do eventually go off road in your new $43,500 truck!
Just got the spec sheet from my dealer and it lists the color as attitude black when I wanted super white. Trying to decide if I would be happy with the black one now. Not sure if it was an allocation issue or just dealer screw up, but I'm pretty bummed since I had it in my mind that I would be getting white.
On a somewhat related note, what do you guys feel is the best source for trade-in values? Kelley lists the trade in value of my 2010 LE about $5k higher than Edmunds True Value ($28k vs. $23k). Black Book lists a range of $22.5-27.5k even after I specified good condition.
I'm starting to feel like my plan to get myself a new super white TRDP will end up with my wife getting a new Highlander (she wouldn't let me get a new car before her since she had a 2008) and me keeping my 2010 LE. Phooey!

spoke with my dealer a couple of weeks back; the plan was to trade my 4R in, and get the TRD Pro
Apparently, there is so much interest in this version that they can't sell it for anything lower than the official pricing.
So, I figured, i'll wait till next year, when the rumored new model comes out, and get me a trail edition, and just do the custom work on it to make it look the part. :hurt:

I'm getting one for the following reasons:
I drive quite a bit for work including tons of really bad gravel & quite a bit of mild-moderate off-road. I want a comfortable ride that looks great & won't get stuck or break down. Even with Toyota's lowered quality in the last few years it's still as good or better than anything else.
My current vehicle 2010 Grand Cherokee has been really good but I have lots of miles on it & want to get rid of it before an expensive repair is needed.
I need a little larger of a vehicle than I currently have.
I am in need of a big write-off for business and this would qualify
I miss my old 2005 4Runner
I don't want to buy the first year of a new model upgrade- I've been following Jeep's new vehicles and they've had quite a bit of trouble. Not sure what next model year's 4Runner will even look like. They may be forced to make it look wimpy (pedestrian standards are changing again).
The Inferno Orange color kicks ass! I'm bored to tears with everyone's boring colors (except for Wranglers & FJ's). The vehicles look nice but seriously, how many gray SUV's do we need?
It's apparently a special edition so it will in theory hold its value over a stock model.
And...the Ford Bronco has yet to make its return. If they do it right with a diesel look out Jeep & Toyota.
