yes, i have both the 1.25" spidertraxx and the toytech 3/4" top plate spacer installed.

i had to trim the inside of each of the front fenders to alleviate the rub you've mentioned at full lock.

Bump. Does anyone's TRDPro or TE have a similar noise to the one I taped?

Was hoping to get some feedback before following up with Toyota directly or trying a different dealer.

I couldn't pinpoint exactly which noise is out of the ordinary. If you're not feeling comfortable, take it in and have it looked at regardless, I would.

Just noticed, you did take it in. Maybe try another dealership or check out another truck. Sorry I'm no help. I had the same issues with my FJ, eventually I learned to just live with it it sucked but I felt it was out if my hands.

Am I crazy for trading my 2014 Raptor in on a new 4 runner TRD pro? The 4 runner is supposed to be here on July 15th.

I was at a Honda dealership where a guy traded in 2 month old 2015 4Runner TRD Pro the prior day for a Ford Raptor, at a Honda dealership no less. Go figure. The 2015 4Runner TRD Pro will have less under the hood, if you know what I mean (~411hp vs ~270hp). I'm somewhat off on those numbers, but you get the idea. If you did a test drive and were OK with it, then you should have no worries at all. I love my 4 runner TRD Pro.

Thanks for the reply -- I figured as much as far as the ride goes. I do love my LE but man, the Pro really has me thinking. I know I could get good value for a trade but looks like the Pro's are going for right at msrp. We'll see,....thanks again.

This is late and it looks like you already made your decision, but I intended to trade my 2011 Limited in for a 15 TRD Pro in White. A dealership in Alexandria, VA had two on their lot and I went to look. Got there and there was something missing with the Pro. Maybe I just grew accustomed to the conveniences of the Limited. And you can give the Limited the "TRD treatment" for much less than you can make a TRD near as well appointed as the Limited. And that is not even brining up the Full time 4WD. So I left the dealership with a 2015 Limited ($30,200 on my trade). Best decision that I could have made. And, to the extent you can trust KBB, et. al, comparative resale/trade in on the Limited is more by a couple thousand over the Pro even though I paid about $500 more for my Limited than I would have for the TRD.

The Pro is a beautiful machine though and I entertain the idea of changing the grill and going full "Toyota" almost daily.

were you able to get it for msrp? hated my experience at keyes. they pretended to have a trail available and lead me to the 2 sr5s they had on the lot only for find out their GM is driving a trail premium that wasn't for sale. then said they would be able to get one (from a sister dealership) and wouldn't budge on the price. Found out the sister dealership was the toyota of pasadena and had a much better experience there while getting about 2k off msrp.

I was able to get it for I believe $1500 below sticker price. Had a really good experience with them. Sales guy makes the difference and his name was Cliff.

Yeah -- I do miss certain things about the Limited -- keyless entry, push button start, the door handle sensors for lock/unlock, etc. And the full-time 4-wheel drive is nice - but the newer styling for the Limited is not my fav,...I actually like the older/original 5th Gen styling for them.

Ah so you're in DC Metro as well. I thought that I had about 57,000 miles on it but I just looked at the paperwork to confirm and it had 52,557 - so a shade over 50,000 miles.

I called around to various dealerships and told them that I wanted $30,000 for my trade. It had every available option but third row seat. Fitzgerald in Gaithersburg had a black Pro and they bit on my $30,000 mandate. So too did Koons in Annapolis. I felt that that was a fair amount considering that they were selling on dealership lots for $32k-$34k and there was no reconditioning needed. They had a lot of room for their margin.

I live in McLean so I went by the JT's in Alexandria. They said that they would honor the trade in appraisal of a competitor but they wanted it in writing. I told them that I had $30,200 standing offer (which wasn't 100% true) but that the dealerships were reluctant to put it on paper because they figured that I would shop that offer as leverage. They agreed, looked over my truck, and said that they would match that.

What was the deal with Fairfax? We are looking at a newer Highlander now for the wife and thought about going there. I wonder if it's as bad as Tyson's - the salespeople there are predatorial and their lot is laid out like a mall parking lot two days before Christmas. And test driving a car on Rt. 7 or chain bridge road sucks ...

Well, that's great. Only getting what I got for my trade is probably a little bit my fault as well. I checked a few places online for Limited's same year with similar miles on them and it looked like they were asking 31k-32K tops so I thought 28.5k was was a good trade,...anyway, what's done is done.

Fairfax Toyota -- maybe I overstated a bit. Not terrible, just not up to snuff IMO. The sales guy I had was very nice, just not very knowledgable and seemed to kinda lost. Must have been new. I felt kinda rushed though the entire process and when they did the prep wash on my Pro they scratched the clear coat on the paint in places. I got some $$$ back for that,...come on. When I took delivery no one walked me through anything on the vehicle, ie, here's how to use this, Entune, etc. I give em overall about a 6.5/10.

I don't know SQUAT about cars except that I like the 4Runner enough to put a deposit on a TRD PRO...... Is it okay to just throw a 1.5" "body lift" on a 2015 PRO? I'd hate to lose the comfy ride and turn it into a pig in an effort to "lift" my truck/ego.

I hope to put taller and wider tires on it as well.

Thanks! I went with Super White. I'm gonna put my company logo on it too. My company colors are Blue and Yellow but I am using all black with a smidge of yellow for the 4Runner. Even though my other trucks are white with the yellow/blue colors, I can't imagine making such a beautiful truck into another billboard.

I will wait for several months before I put the vinyl on so that the paint can fully cure.

Is the sliding rear cargo deck only available with the inferno exterior color? This is the only way you can select it on the toyota website which I find odd.

Also, anyone hear any about any changes for the 2016 TRD Pro? I heard that magnetic gray would be offered as an exterior color but not sure if there are any other changes.

What are your intentions? Are you going to offroad? If you are, I'd suggest having them remove the running boards so you're not paying the rediculous up charge on those. You can buy rock rails for a lot cheaper and they will offer protection.
My dealership wouldn't remove mine because it was a truck on the lot. You may still have a chance since you're ordering yours.
This is just something that if I could change, I would. Hope it helps.

My 2015 super white (near Philadelphia) does NOT have the slide out "party tray". It is my understanding that the one that I got was to be "built for the dealership" and I was the first to get a crack at it. I did NOT get to pick my options. I paid full MSRP.

They tell me that it should arrive in a month or so (probably early Sept.)
