So what are your impressions of running all that weight on stock suspension? Appreciable differences in acceleration, braking, handling? Do you feel like you are running a constantly loaded/compressed suspension (for lack of better terms)? Any drawbacks from shifting so much weight to the rear with the tire? Just interested in your general thoughts on it since you have been running that set up.
Man I went to the dealer near me in Houston and was asking about a TRD. They sat me down in the office and told me that I had a zero chance of getting a TRD. None. Zilch. He pulled up all the undelivereds around me and confirmed that every one was spoken for. I came home and emailed all those dealers that had them coming. Every one emailed me back and said their's were already taken, just awaiting delivery. The next morning one called me and said their's would actually be available. About two weeks later I had it in my garage and 6000 miles later I love it!
I don't think mine ever had a previous buyer. I believe they mark them as sold so other dealers don't try to get them to transfer them over. Just a theory.
anybody bought the new quicksand TRD Pro yet?
Where are you located?
A little test drive after installing Toytec lift spacers last night. I stacked a 3/4 and 1/4 plate on each side. Drives and handles like stock.

nice flex! i like the stance with the spidertrax too, did you have the wheel spacers on prior to the 1" lift? looked thru your stuff but didn't see a pic. did you have to trim much either way?
Not bought but I just drove by one at my local dealer, who NEVER gets 4wd 4runners. Nice looking rig. $43,756.
WOW.. so they do have 2016's on the lots already?? I nearly killed myself for a week looking for a 2015 and ended up driving 7 hours one way to pick one up..Was told a few months before the 2016 hit the lot..

Wow some of you have some awesome looking TRD's!
I was lucky enough to find one of the last 2015's available last week and traded in my FJ Trail teams to get it.
Question - tire pressure on the door is 32.5 .. is this correct????
I thought the nitto terra grapplers were e rated tires thus making it a 46PSI standard like the FJ cruiser trail teams edition..
Am I off base here? 32.5 seems very low.

Here is a side shot of how she sits now. I may add another inch to inch and a half to the rear.

I haven't seen any challenges on or off road really. Morena ( my rig) kicked ass in Ouray at the FJ Summit and conquered every obstacle put in front of her.
When I am in town and not planning to go on any excursions, I do remove the rear tire carrier and swing out for a more streamline look. I really don't notice much difference between having it on and off.
