I saw this yesterday at the NY Auto Show.

Toyota had all the TRD PRO trucks on display in their new color called "CEMENT"

No changes to the 4runner at all except the new color.

I went there yesterday and snapped some more pictures, I'm not a fan of this color, I also spoke with the Toyota lady that was representing the TRD line up and asked if they're any changes and she said not for 2017. I was really hoping for a redesign 2017 4Runner as I am in the market for one.

Looks like they are also adding Barcelona Red to the TRDPro color lineup as well.

if you have the ability to pay cash in full then I would assume you have the credit score needed to borrow the $$ at near or zero percent. do that and invest that chunk at a higher return.

best bet is to have your money sorted and be ready to go without the need to see if they'll approve you and what their terms are. credit unions are offering crazy low rates right now.

I bought mine a year and a half ago where it had been sitting on a lot unsold for a bit over 2 weeks. when asked why they replied lots of wanters but few with the credit score to get it. I called my bank and bought it for MSRP with them allowing me full original MSRP trade in for my FJC. I felt OK with that. ;-)

dealers don't give a shit whether it's cash or financed because they get paid when you sign. if anything, they'd prefer you finance (through them, so they can get a taste of that action and further pad their profits).

Magnetic Grey IMO was a lot better color than the new Metallic Red, I googled some of the pictures of it on a Corolla and Camry did not like it at all. We'll have to wait and see.

correct. Even if they give you a "buy rate" at 1.9% for example, they make what's called a "flat" $200-300 so they'd prefer financing and they actually get paid quicker than a personal check

I offered to buy mine in cash, they didn't care.

It is like everyone else before me has said, the dealers prefer it if you finance it through them as they get points on the money factor. They prefer it even more if you lease.

At the end of the day I just financed it through my credit union because I knew that there wasn't a bank in town (including TFS) that could touch the rates I have available from them.

Invest your money and use a bank's money to finance your vehicle purchase, money is cheap to borrow right now. (credit score dependent)

Thanks for everyone's comments. Reason I ask was people tell me cash is king but sounds like it's not the case anymore. Reason why I'm paying cash in full is bucause I'm buying a house and don't want debt. Anyways short story my decision I want to pay in full. I thought they would work with me but now I know thank you everyone for ur comments again

Someone just listed a 2016 TRD Pro in Quicksilver on the Bay Area Craigslist with a relatively fair price. Has 13k miles. I still can't decide what I really want.

I don't have a particularly lead foot and I haven't been hauling anything. Checked the tire pressure and they seem to be right at manufacturer sticker of 32psi. How have other people's experiences been?

I use premium gas and avg 17.1mpg, try going to 35psi. Dont drive faster than 65mph.

That is definitely low. Something is not right. Maybe change the method you are using to determine your MPG? Start with that. Premium fuel not necessary and does not increase MPG.
