First TRD Pro Runner received. No KDSS and as for now it appears no sunroof either. Though most online pictures of the Inferno Red show a sunroof. Have only received Black. From the factory, the only things include the Sliding Rear Deck, and the factory NAV same as the TE's. Port installed will be the F/R Bilstein shocks w/ remote resevoir; TRD Spings, which I believe are Eibach; TRD Skid Plate(same as Trail Team FJ); 265/70/17 Nitto Grapplers on 17' TRD Black wheel; TRD Pro side badge and shift knob. TRD Pro floor mats will go with the vehicle to the dealer. Dealer's should have already requested their first round for delivery at end of the month/ beginning of next month. Not sure on color options and their delivery though. Any picture interest for it not fully assembled? Only the suspension has been put on. Probably will not be assembled until next week.

My TRD arrived this week. :whoo: Thought this sticker on the door jamb was interesting and quite silly at the same time. So the TRD parts added at port only weigh 16 lbs. more than the factory items?

Yeah that is interesting. No doubt all the stuff they add for the TRD Pro at the Port is only 16 lb. That means some stuff that is added is done at the factory. Wheels/Tires weigh way more than that and we know they are added at the port. Badges, Skidplates, etc. I don't believe EVERYTHING is done at the port. I do believe the suspension is done at the factory. Why on earth would it come with factory suspension and waste those struts when they can install the new suspension at the factory instead and save time.

As far as I know, the factory FJ steelies are only a few pounds heaver than the TRDP rims. The TRDP rims seem to fall at about 25 lbs. The steelies weighed in at about 28 lbs.

I got my 2016 for $2298 below MSRP + matching 5th wheel + cargo tray. Not too far off the $2500 number you quoted above. :eyebrows:

there's no need to "re-align their factories" because they're really basic Trail Editions that get the TRD Pro bits added upon arrival at port.

They might get some of those accessories added on but before they are built (as a PRO mind you) each dealer gets an allocation and every dealer's allocation of PROs is small

$225 Doc fee
$300 Taxes (Flat amount for SC)
$79 License + Title

No other fees. Price came straight off the sticker and matched up with Toyota & SE Toyota's config tools.

Drool. That is the one I hope to get early next year if I can still get one. I just can't financially just yet. Refinancing my house once my bills are paid off is my first priority.

The 2015 Prototype had the TRD suspension kit from the Tacoma T|X Baja Edition (PTR13-35120) which is good for about 1.75" lift on the Taco. Nice and beefy 650lb springs too.
