New shocks are awesome. Better in the warm, hot or cold. Anyone with the new shocks feel differently?? Seriously, to me, a huge improvement.

The new Bilsteins are indeed awesome. Had them installed under the TSB and did a 2400 mile trip out to Maine and back. Like riding on a cloud.

New Shoes

Just mounted a fresh set of 275 KO2s, and man do they look and feel great. Set them at 42PSI after reading all the deliberation on other forums, and am quite happy with the ride.

What to do next....? Oh wait, I told my wife I was done (for now....muahahahahahaah).

Granted, this doesnt apply to offroading, but for years I have run my vehicle at the max PSI listed on the tires, if not higher, for the sake of mileage. I havent noticed any particularly uneven wear that wasnt caused by poor alignment. Coupled with other "hyper-miling" techniques, we average 22-23 mpg, mixed, in the 2016 TRDP.

But, the door jamb says 32 PSI!

Yes, they are P-rated tire. If you switch out to an LT tire then it's different.

I went out to Hidden Falls Adventure Park in the new TRD PRO 4Runner with my brother in law. I was extremely fun. Hope to make it out there again soon. Made a quick video from the day.

Awesome video. If I ever to get my 4Runner (considering a 2017 cement TRD Pro)...I will definitely have to check this place out. I have ZERO experience off-roading...but looks like this place has some easier stuff for a novice like me.

Awesome video. If I ever to get my 4Runner (considering a 2017 cement TRD Pro)...I will definitely have to check this place out. I have ZERO experience off-roading...but looks like this place has some easier stuff for a novice like me.

There is definitely stuff for the novice and some very extreme stuff. I haven't been off road since the 90s. I had a dodge 4x4 standard transmission I used to mud in during my high school years.

It was an awesome experience driving and automatic transmission off road. I know the die hard are going to kill me for this but it was just so nice.

I was really impressed with how capable this vehicle is. I did everything in 4 Hi and it handled everything like a champ. The one part that got scary was the Falls. The accent on the left was fine but we slid halfway down on the decent and it felt like we were going to tip over and roll. Not sure I wanna try that again. Suffice it to say this 4Runner is way more capable that anything I'm willing to do.

Used. 11K miles. They've had it listed for a bit. Asking a lot for it IMO... But it is there if somebody wants one.

Every TRD Pro used in a promo seems to have a sunroof yet it is not an option when it comes to an ACTUAL TRD Pro off the lot. Also the headrests have TRD stitching which I thought were only for the TRD Off-Road model.

Correct, rubbing is less of a concern than 285s. I have the toytec lift and spidertrax and no rubbing but I bet you could fit them on there without a lift and be OK. I haven't encountered any cons, I'm sold on the pizza cutters but the debate between wide vs narrow definitely exists. I think there's a thread on here about it.

I've had them in the snow and they were great, but not so much ice yet. We should have some icy conditions this week though and I'm with you, I think if they have any weakness it might be ice.
