4runner TRD Pro

just my luck..

I found a few within my area but when i get the reply.. the pro has been sold..

is placing the order the only way to go now?

Call and ask around. Many people bail, or dealerships receive TRD Pros without anyone asking. I got VERY lucky and found my Cement TRD two days ago which I will pick up this Saturday.

Mine came in last week! Went up to the dealership in Boston to check it out. Going to pick it up this coming weekend!

Nice! Mine hits the dealer tomorrow in Arlington TX... then shipping to California... hopefully will be here by Monday next week. Just squared up all the paperwork.

I was honestly worried they would mess with me when I got final numbers but nope - dealer was honest and SUPER easy to work with so far. I'll see once I finally have my vehicle, but MSRP, all the options I wanted, and he handled shipping etc...

Also had zero issue with me using a credit union instead of Toyota Financing... so far, so good! GIDDY TOO!

just curious, did you always intend to go through your credit union? did you entertain Toyota Financing at all? if so, what terms did they present? From what i can tell, the competitive rates apply to the cars they are trying to get rid of so it doesn't sound like the TRDPro would fit that bill.

Nope. I was originally just going with Toyota financing. They gave me a decent rate - 3%. But I have 800+ credit... so people here on this forum helped me find a good credit union to ghetto that rate lower. I have actually never used a credit union ever... but it ends up saving me almost 1.5% which could add up. Might as well stay as low as I can on that rate even though I plan on paying off the truck in 12-24 months tops.

Like others have said, just call around. My dealer didn't even request any pros but it popped up in there allocation.

OK that clears it up for me. I'll pursue the CU route. Thanks! I have a Cement coming in any day now!
