New member here (I'm a member of a few Tundra and Jeep boards).
Just picked up an Inferno TRDP for the wife last week. VERY pleased with it so far.

Two questions, if you don't mind...
1. There are small panels on either side of the slide-out hatch thing. They seem kinda like they open or come out, but I didn't want to pry on them. Do they?

2. I saw a picture this week where someone had installed some LED's in the hood scoop. I searched, but can't find the thread now. Anyone have a link?

Here's the new ride:

If you are talking about the sliding cargo tray in the rear, the panels that pop out back there are for access to the jack, and one on each side to access the tail lights.

I placed a deposit on a trd pro 4Runner in cement, it had all these optional options installed already and the only one I don't like is the hood protector. Can anybody tell me if the hood protector that Toyota sells is drilled into the hood? Can it easily be taken off without damaging the hood? TIA

It is installed using the pre existing holes under the hood.

Repped, Thank you so much for that quick answer, I asked the dealer and they said the same thing, just wanted to confirm with everyone on this site if it was true. Cant wait to pickup my trd pro sometime this week.

I just put a refundable deposit($500) down for a Cement TRD PRO 4Runner. Is $44k OTD a good deal considering they are hard to come by? Price is $500 below MSRP.
Price includes delivery processing and handling($960), doc fee($149) and few options(all weather floor mats/cargo tray, cargo cover, door edge guard, exhaust tip, paint protection film).

I would take it. Cements are hard to find and anything below msrp is a good deal. At least from what I have found.

Based on my research over the last year - yes. Great deal. I simply couldn't find anything under MSRP. It was hard to just find MSRP for me. A few stories here of grabbing for under... do it!
