4runner TRD Pro

So I email the inventory manager at the dealership I ordered from to check the status again.

He responds with: "Still due to arrive at the port on the 29th puts it here on around the 4th of November".

So I respond back: "Once it arrives at port doesn’t it take a couple weeks to add the TRD Pro stuff"? "No VIN yet"?
R
Then his response is: "No once it arrives at the port all they have to do is make sure it passes safety inspection since they aren't adding any accessories to it. These are manufactured in Japan so nothing gets added at the port".

^^His last response is what's confusing me. Goes to show you the people at the dealership don't know what's going on. Which makes sense, cause I remember when I went to order, this same guy mentioned the 2017's TRDP colors but called the cement color, concrete, lol.

So looks like my 4 runner will be here in November...hopefully. :faint:

Yes that guy is clueless. Congrats in advance.

I just registered mine (was delivered on Sep 06) online at the Toyota owners site...entered the VIN number and all the information came up...says it's a Pro, names manufacturing plant in Japan, prize etc.

And then this pops up (see screenshot)...so either Toyota does no longer install the PRO package at port or their online system information is wrong - in which case you can't blame your sales person :)

Mine says the same thing on the owners site.....It's just a technicality on the owners site. The pro parts are still and always have been port installed. Most if not all the sales people do not know jack crap about what they are selling. Especially speciality/limited production vehicles.....

I have a dealership in so cal that will sell me a white pro when it gets here in mid November .
But I might end up getting a Tacoma instead .

Please let me know if anyone is interested in a white pro for MSRP...

What would be a fair price for our stock Nitto Terra 265/70/17 tires for a quick sale?

I'm getting BFG KO2 275/70/17 installed shortly :llama:

I have a 2016 Trail with KDSS and 18k miles. I can get a Pro for $38k. Should I make the swap? It appears that the Pro resale value would allow me to drive it a couple years for free even though I prefer my moonroof and KDSS equipped Trail.

Run and get that deal.

Invoice is ~$39,300 with NO options, and then you have ~$1000 Destination and any silly options that manage to get stuck on them. Tax, tag, title...

Looks perfect! Factory suspension or you added leveling kit?

3/8'' spacer in front lifting the front ~5/8'', 10mm spacer in rear lifting the rear ~3/8''.

If I were to do it again i would do 1/4'' spacer in front with the 10mm spacer in the rear... Or nothing at all. Really don't need to lift without wheel spacers(285/70).
