4Runner Venture

Oh thanks.
But i got the barcelona red. Im loving it more and more.

I ordered the TRD rims IN BLACK!! SO now all it needs is predator running board, and a yakima roof rack... but i dont like the basket, too high for my underground parking, and the predator step bar seems to be too low!!

People here claim that they have poor wet weather performance. I don't know. I have a set on my TE and on my FJC and they seem fine. We're in the rainy season right now and neither perform poorly, and both are great off road for what they are.

I'm not sure why, but I had a short period of time where my KO2s did perform poorly in the rain. It was really noticeable, I would spin the tires when accelerating from stop, even when barely giving it any gas. But like I said, they didn't stay that way for long.

I'm not an expert on tire wear or tread compound, so I won't pretend that I have a good hypothesis. I just know that I experienced that issue for maybe a month or two, and then never again. I've got about 40K miles on them, and this probably happened around the 20K mark.

What do people do with their old stock wheels? They're worth absolutely nothing...

Well the offroad rims that came with my 4runner are the 17x7.5s... so ill use them for my Winter sets and well use it to run a "Thicker" tire set up for them...
will use the black trds for summers / all seasons!

I just need the exhaust on it...

I sold / traded my 2016 camaro ss for this 2020 trd off road.

I sold my stock SR5 rims for what ended up being dirt cheap on craiglist. Any money was worth getting them out of my garage.

I lucked out on selling mine on craigslist at $425. Surprised I was able to get that much, only had 2000 miles. Purchased the TRD black wheels on sale.

I regret getting the predator steps on my pro. They will be coming off as soon as the weather gets warmer.

yeah they seem terrible for offroading since footsteps might get caught on rocks. I have the standard 4runner side steps but so far have not damaged them.

How come?

I've had equal, if not better off-road performance. Equal on-road performance and quietness and even greater longevity from my Wildpeaks than any KO or KO2 I have owned (6-7 sets over several vehicles). All that and they are 2/3 the price!

I simply think KO2s are just over-rated. They are the default, dont think about it, decent tire. Not knocking them at all, they are good. But they are not 'the best' by any means and they are not a very good value.
