4runner with a visor?

Agree on the wind drag, maybe extra noise too

if blocking the sun is your interest, why not tint the area. You can go lower than the silly mark and with really dark tint-that's what i did-stealthy too.

I've seen a Lund windshield sunvisor on a 1st gen Tacoma before. Bout the same platform.

niiice!
Why do you want one? They kind of look tacky and create an awful drag.. I'd imagine since the sunvisor is universal it wouldn't really match up all that well.

yeah the suns a drag thats the functionality and all, in ca its ilegal to tint any front window....it blows....

Go with the tint - I seen a visor on a 3rd gen once and it looked hideous, looked like a giant over bite.

To each their own I guess but IMO those are one of the most hideous and pointless things a person can do to a vehicle. Whats wrong with the built in flipdown visor in the truck already? I usually try to be openminded and as positive as possible on here to others taste....but please for the sake of 4r owners everywhere. ..dont do this to your rig.

i dunno...im thinking like a stormtrooper look...ill think about it though....

I say do what you like..... I've changed my mind on several things I thought I would not like on our 4runner. However, functionality usually won me over.

My wife at times can not tolerate the sun glare while riding in a vehicle even with tint. It's a terrible condition which comes and goes due to MS. Yes it would be functional but also falls in that " happy wife happy life " category. Which now falls into a "must have" if you ever wanna buy a mod again. Lol

Hope this helps......

Best regards ....... 8sm

I thought this visor looked good

Have had one on a pickup truck and it did absolutely nothing for blocking the sun coming in the cab.

Wow, the hood on that Stellar. No words.
As far as a visor- I'd much rather see a nice rig with a visor than a trashed just-like-the-rest rig without one.
As far as functionality- do you know if it's even very effective?
