4Runner with Z1

Its custom made. Had it done professionally. Amp install around $50, wiring $90(kicker power set, i think). For the sub box a couple hundred more, cause they fiberglass the box where the wheel well is to get more airspace and the vinyl is expensive compared to the carpet, but if I could return the box i would. I could've done the box myself. They guy did a pretty good job.

hey work, great setup!

At which shop did you have this done?

The only thing I can find around here (Central NC) is Tweeter...

Thanks, and again, great setup!

EDIT: Anyone know where to get that sticky pad used for those antenna?

You gotta love the AVIC Z1....

FWIW, I have this unit also, and the shop that did my install was able to get the steering wheel buttons to work. It's very cool. I just had to pay a little extra $$ to get some adapter they needed to use, then, they downloaded some codes off the 'Net and were able to get the steering buttons to work!

It's a mad-cool unit for sure.

fyremin: Had it installed at cartronics. I actually bought my stuff at tweeter.

jdub24: Yup best HU out there. You're lucky you got the steering wheel buttons to work. Did they get all the buttons to function?

Here is the part needed to use the factory steering wheel controls with the Z1. It's on Crutchfield and it's only $70.00!

Yes, I can use volume, track search, and mode to switch between everything....

I need to get that part. Thanks for the part number.

I had it done. If you have carpentry skills I think it would be easy to do that just have the amp professionaly wired.
