Here are some pictures of the latching system

So in this picture you can see the latch handle on the right. On the left you can see a small rubber stopper and above that is a piece of plastic that hits the strike plate on the bumper itself.

Here you can see the strike plate:

Here you can see how it all fits together. Plastic on top of the strike plate.

Thanks for taking the time to post those pics, that's exactly what I was after. I'm getting really tired of the latching mechanism on my rear bumper, so I'm going to modify it and I've been looking for ideas.

What are your thoughts on that setup? Does it rattle at all? Do you feel confident that it will hold up? Is it easy to use, etc?

Super easy to use, no rattling, although I have yet to touch dirt with it. It's pretty sturdy, I highly doubt anything will happen to it.

Very happy to see the Sun Devils beat the Wildcats on the hardwood last week.

Mated to a 5spd. Ahh the speed. Better charge more for those tutoring sessions.

Nonetheless a nice pick up. Just the SC body or did you score pulleys, etc.?

5 speed, but not in the traditional sense, my dream is a sidewinder shifter.

It came with the tensioner, all the hardware, the gasket. Everything I need.

Just electrical. That's the only thing.

6 Denso Iridium Power Spark Plugs ($48)
1 Supercharger Belt ($15)
1 Throttle Body to Supercharger gasket ($10)

More supercharger parts ordered:
2 OEM quality C3 fit high speed ball bearings
1 premium nose seal
1 tube of Permatex anaerobic gasket sealant
2 bottles of supercharger oil
2 Needle Bearings for the back

If only my wife allowed me to purchase every "good deal" I see... I'd have about 10 warn winches, a few sets of tires, some wheels for SURE, headers, a 94 Supra, uh... That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I was real mad about the Supra. ONLY needed paint and an engine :decision:

Yeah man... It seems like she buys smalls things every single day. I should tally the cost and make a purchase every time she spends $1000. Probably be every week. :dizzy:

I did the flipping thing a few times then realized my time was worth more than the profit I was making... The flakes were too much for me.
