I wish I could say that! I had to retake Calc 3 and am retaking Linear/Diff Eqs again this semester! Though I suck ass at school haha

That's the first I've seen the entire truck in a single picture. If they got rid of the chrome mirrors, maybe made the grille smaller or did something different with it, and took that plastic valence thing off the bottom(makes it look like a GM) it would look a lot better. I do have to say I like the previous two generations more though.
There seem to be a lot of engineering majors here with all the math class discussions haha. I am too!

Once Connor starts earning a paycheck he is hiring a private investigator to track down the family's missing 68 red Corvette. That would still burn me to lose something so nice.
I wish Toyota would have used a Hino diesel but I guess Cummins gets more brand recognition. It will be interesting to gauge the reception the Cummins Titan receives here shortly.
That Tacoma is just ugly, no two ways about it.

It was found a few weeks after being stolen and it was stripped for parts. I would truly love to buy another one and give it to him though.
I'm hoping that there is true interest in the Tundra Diesel, enough that it brings Toyota's diesel research alive again.

That is just awful. Not only did they steal the car, they then hacked it up. Nothing more than vultures for hire.
By the time you finish ASU I would think there is a diesel motor in the Tundra. Maybe a graduation gift.

Haha this concept always cracked me up. In most cases your parents pay for your college tuition and at the end of it all they are supposed to give you a gift. Should be the other way around IMO. Not hating on anyone at all, but it never made much sense to me.
The 3rd gen isn't the most appealing as of those pictures, but that's one trim. I'm not a fan of the Limited Edition 2nd gen, but the sport and off road look a lot different. I'll wait for the whole line up and the engine/interior specs before casting judgement on it. People hated the 2nd gen and the mid gen refresh, but now everyone loves them. It just takes time to get used to it.

Because $100k+ and setting you up for success for the rest of you life isn't motivation enough to graduate!
On the note of college, why don't you design your LT kit and apply your ME classes? It'd be considerably cheaper than having someone else do it once you get to that point.

Because I don't trust myself to design a piece of my suspension that if it did fail it could potentially cause harm to myself and my passengers, as well as the rest of the public. On a trail only rig sure, but my 4Runner sees about 20k miles a year. It's just not worth the risk.

Fair enough! I trust you could do it though! It seems like it would cost a lot for a company to engineer an entire kit if you do that route, unless they start producing it and you're just running a prototype kit. I would trust myself with half an engineering degree more than I would trust a fabricating shop making guesses on structural element sizing.

The plan currently is for me to run a prototype kit. But I might get side tracked and build an LC80 for my Dad.
