4Running Daily's Build Thread

Its greener then I would have expected it to be. It almost looks like they get more rain then we do in socal.
We've gotten rain and thunderstorms the last couple of days. It's really nice here, like surprisingly nice haha.

Head to Broken Arrow in Sedona or Crown King or Elvis or Smiley Rock near Jerome, rug road, etc.

Just avoid the J-turn on Elvis: Toyota Tacoma - YouTube
I plan on it. I've been on the broken arrow trail once before, but not in my truck.
I'm trying not to do trail runs solo, I was playing around in a little too soft of sand yesterday, could have been bad. I'm hoping some FJ's want to run Broken Arrow soon.

That J-turn looks like fun haha

AZ is nice, though when I lived in Sedona back when your 4runner was three years old, there weren't many trails. More in Flag.

If you want the scoop on trails and such, go see Steve at Sonoran Steel in Tempe. I'm sure he knows all of them in AZ. Just make sure the Go-Pro has plenty of juice.

Had no idea he was in Tempe. I'll have to pay him a visit. Thanks!

Now that you're even closer, you'll have to make a trip to Moab :cheer2:
I definitely plan on it.

Looks like fun. Try a night time trail run sometime.

My first week of college was a blur. And no car for me. Just a bicycle and skateboard.

My air compressor for my air locker broke again. I took it apart and everything spins freely. Don't have time to trouble shoot it, so I'll probably just buy another one.

ARB CKSA12. I think it overheated considering how often it had to cycle to keep my locker engaged and it was like 105 degrees outside.

Hmm that is kinda surprising, I have put mine through hell and it's still kicking. At the very least ARB has a history of being great with warranties.

Where do you have it mounted?

That's the kicker. It was mounted on the driver side of my battery. Between the inner fender and the battery. It also has a large air leak, so it was cycling a lot, it was 105 degrees-ish outside, and it had been on for a solid 2 hours like that.

So we'll see what ARB says. I'll mount it somewhere with more air flow when I get time.
